​The Brunei Darussalam National Pencak Silat Association, PERSIB, in Temburong District held a Pencak Silat Competition in conjunction with His Majety's 79th Birthday Celebrations Temburong District Level. The competition was held at Mukim Bokok Community Hall, Kampung Rataie Temburong, 25th July afternoon.

23 people participated in the competition. The Closing was officiated by Awang Hassan Baha bin Haji Umar, Acting Temburong District Officer.

In the morning, the Opening was officiated by Yang Berhormat Haji Awang Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council. 13 categories were competed. The winner for each category will represent the Temburong District to the next national level.
